In questi anni con lui abbiamo camminato tanto. Il Carè Alto, la vetta dell'Ortles, le notti infinite del Selvaggio Blu, la parete della Grande di Lavaredo e ora 8 cime del Rosa e il tramonto alla Margherita con il Cervino davanti.
Giovanni è una guida impeccabile, preparatissimo, di quelli che guardi e pensi "sono in mani sicure". Sempre.
Ma Giovanni è molto di più. È l'amico che ti aspetta senza fretta, che capisce quando sei stanco prima che tu lo dica, che festeggia la tua vetta come fosse la sua prima. È una persona rara, di quelle che in montagna come nella vita ti insegnano il rispetto, l'umiltà e la gioia delle cose fatte bene.

Desideriamo ringraziare di cuore la nostra guida alpina per la splendida esperienza vissuta fino al Rifugio Caduti dell’Adamello, conosciuto anche come Rifugio delle Lobbie (3.040 m), situato sul Passo della Lobbia Alta, e poi fino al Ghiacciaio della Lobbia, alla Cresta Croce e al Cannone.
Essendo escursionisti inesperti, affrontare questo percorso senza un professionista al nostro fianco sarebbe stato molto difficile. Fin dal primo momento ci ha trasmesso sicurezza, competenza e tranquillità, seguendoci con attenzione in ogni tratto del cammino e adattandosi sempre ai nostri tempi e alle nostre esigenze.
Oltre alla grande preparazione tecnica, abbiamo apprezzato la sua disponibilità, la pazienza e il modo cordiale con cui ci ha accompagnati durante tutta la giornata. È stato come avere accanto un amico fidato: una presenza rassicurante, sempre pronta a dare un consiglio, un incoraggiamento o una spiegazione interessante sui luoghi visitati.
