I’m Giò.

Giovanni Ghezzi – Mountain Guide and Ski Instructor in Madonna di Campiglio

My name is Giovanni Ghezzi, though many people simply call me Giò. I am a UIAGM Mountain Guide and ski instructor.

The mountains are where I have always moved, first out of passion, then as my profession. Over time, they have become a space for exploration, exchange and continuous growth, both in Italy and abroad. From my first days outdoors to major expeditions, I have learned that moving through natural environments means observing, adapting and respecting. Today I share this journey with those who want to set out with me, without shortcuts.

Mankealpi is my world. Sport and nature, routes and journeys born from a simple idea of movement, where relationships, experience and landscape come together.

Sport and travel have always been part of my path, driven by curiosity and a desire to discover. Ireland and Australia shaped my growth, just as the mountains have: an essential space where dreams and new perspectives can take form. Being a mountain guide and ski instructor is not just a profession, but a way of life made of experiences, movement and genuine connections. In my work, when needed, I collaborate with trusted colleagues who share my approach: attention, care and respect for every person I have the privilege to accompany.

My Philosophy
Movement is in our nature: when the body stops, the mind keeps travelling.

Nature and Landscape

I work in an area where very different environments exist within just a few kilometres.

Between the Dolomites, the Adamello-Presanella range and Lake Garda, glaciers, rock faces, alpine lakes, forests and valleys follow one another. It is an ideal setting for planning mountain routes in every season, on different types of terrain and for different levels.

Experience these places. Discover new horizons.

Relationships and Experiences

We are made for connection, and the mountains are a space for dialogue.

You may be looking for silence and distance from everyday noise, a peaceful moment of solitude for yourself, or a shared experience where new opportunities can emerge through exchange. In every case, nature helps us see reality with different eyes and greater awareness.

You enter the mountains and come back changed.

Movement and Wellbeing

Extreme sports, adrenaline, or simple walks that bring you closer to yourself and to nature.

Body and mind are involved in a natural, progressive way, in harmony with pace, breath, balance and attention. Between moments of energy and moments of listening, movement in the mountains becomes a real way to feel well, regain vitality and experience nature more directly, alone or with others.

Choose your own dose of adventure.
