Via Ferrata Sentiero Benini in the Brenta Dolomites – Panoramic Traverse

Difficulty:

The Via Ferrata Sentiero Benini in the Brenta Dolomites, between Madonna di Campiglio and Passo Grostè, is one of the most spectacular equipped routes in Trentino. A fascinating itinerary that allows you to experience the high-altitude Dolomite environment, crossing ledges, ridges and equipped passages in one of the most panoramic sectors of the entire Brenta Group.

The Sentiero Benini follows an airy and varied route, combining the spirit of adventure with the discovery of alpine landscapes of extraordinary beauty. Between narrow ledges, vertical ladders and exposed traverses, the route crosses the high-altitude heart of the Brenta Dolomites, offering continuous views of the great walls, spires and most iconic peaks of the group.

In the first weeks of summer, it is not uncommon to find remaining snow on the slopes and high-altitude plateaus, a detail that makes the environment even more evocative. The descent can take place via the Tuckett Glacier, often still snow-covered at the beginning of the season, or along the Dallagiacoma variant, an equipped route that gradually leads back towards the valley trails, completing one of the most beautiful and representative traverses in the Brenta Dolomites.
