Best for

Garda Trek Skyline is ideal for well-trained hikers, mountain trekking lovers and people who want to experience something authentic between nature, panoramas and adventure.

It is perfect for those looking for an emotional trekking experience on Lake Garda, far from traditional tourist routes, with the added value of a professional Mountain Guide and a carefully planned itinerary.

The experience is recommended for those with good physical preparation who enjoy walking for several consecutive days on mountain trails, panoramic ridges and alpine terrain.

Program

  • Day 1 – Meet the guide in Tione di Trento and transfer to Passo Durone (955 m), the starting point of the adventure. From here the trek begins, with the trail climbing gradually towards Cima Sera, where the landscape opens up and introduces the long ridgeline that will accompany the day. The route continues through a succession of panoramas to Malga Meda (1,658 m). Bivouac experience immersed in the silence of the mountains.
  • Day 2 – One of the most spectacular stages of the route: a long high-altitude walk along a sharp ridge, between open scenery and continuous views over Lake Garda. Some of the most iconic points of the itinerary follow one another, including Cima Gavardina (2,047 m), Dosso della Torta (2,156 m) and Monte Tofino (2,151 m), in a wild and majestic environment, until reaching Rifugio Pernici (1,600 m). Dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 3 – The route continues towards Cima Parì (1,990 m), before beginning a long panoramic descent through woods and pastures to Santa Barbara. Here, an evocative stop at the Bastione di Riva offers an aperitivo with a view suspended directly above Lake Garda. In the afternoon, reach Riva del Garda (65 m), with accommodation in a comfortable property and dinner in one of the many typical local restaurants.
  • Day 4 – Transfer to Malcesine and ascent by cable car to Monte Baldo, a true natural balcony over Lake Garda. From here, begin a high-altitude trek along panoramic trails suspended between sky and lake, as far as Rifugio Altissimo (2,059 m). Dinner and overnight stay in one of the most iconic settings of the entire route.
  • Day 5 – Descent towards Brentonico and transfer to Ronzo Chienis. From here, the trail climbs again through open, sunny alpine landscapes to Monte Stivo (2,059 m), an extraordinary panoramic viewpoint over Lake Garda and the surrounding valleys. The day ends at Rifugio Stivo, with dinner and overnight stay or a bivouac experience, depending on the period and the hut’s opening dates.
  • Day 6 – The final day of the trek crosses increasingly open and airy landscapes to the Viote of Monte Bondone (1,560 m). A long traverse that leads towards the end of the adventure, among wide panoramas and a strong feeling of space and freedom. In the afternoon, transfer to Tione di Trento and end of the journey.
