Program
- Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech and transfer towards the High Atlas mountains to the traditional Berber village of Tacheddirt (2,300 m). The first day is dedicated to acclimatisation and a gradual entry into the high-altitude environment. Ski ascent to the Tizi Likemt pass (3,500 m), with beautiful views over the Atlas valleys, followed by the descent and return via Tizi Tamatert (2,300 m). Transfer to Aroumd, accommodation and overnight stay with full board.
- Day 2 – Departure towards the heart of the Toubkal massif, with a progressive ascent along the valley. Passage through the evocative sanctuary of Sidi Chamarouch, a spiritual place and important reference point in Berber culture. Continue to the Toubkal Refuge, in a full high-mountain environment. Dinner and overnight stay in the refuge.
- Day 3 – A technical and panoramic ski touring day. Ascent on skis through wide valleys, natural couloirs and high-altitude slopes to the northern saddle. Final section with crampons, without particular technical difficulty, to the summit of Jbel Akioud (4,035 m). Long, rewarding descent and return to the refuge.
- Day 4 – The key day of the expedition: ascent to the summit of Jbel Toubkal (4,176 m), the highest mountain in Morocco and all of North Africa. A spectacular itinerary through snow, gentle ridges and endless views over the Atlas and the desert regions. From the summit, ski descent towards the refuge and return to a protected mountain setting.
- Day 5 – Ascent of the spectacular twin summits of the massif: Ras Ouanoukrim and Timesguida, both above 4,000 metres. A wilder and more isolated environment, with 360° views over the High Atlas. Long descent towards Imlil and return to Marrakech. Overnight stay in a B&B in the city, returning to civilisation after the high-altitude experience.
- Day 6 – Transfer to the airport and return flight. End of the ski touring expedition on Jbel Toubkal, returning with images, emotions and a unique experience between Africa and the high mountains.
