Ski touring in Norway, between Tromsø and the Lyngen Alps, is a unique journey through Arctic mountains, fjords and ocean, in one of the most spectacular settings in Northern Europe. It is a ski touring experience designed for those who want to enjoy the winter mountains in an authentic way, among fresh snow, endless views and routes that often start directly from sea level.
The Lyngen Alps and the Tromsø area are among the most iconic destinations for ski touring in an Arctic environment: snow-covered peaks overlooking the fjords, panoramic descents and Nordic light accompanying every day on skis.
Compared with the Lofoten Islands, the mountains here are more imposing and severe, with peaks that have a more vertical, alpine character. Tromsø and Lyngseidet are two of the best logistical bases for experiencing a complete ski touring holiday in this part of Norway.
This is a dynamic and itinerant journey, where each day the best route is chosen according to snow conditions, weather and the group.
