Via delle Normali, Brenta Dolomites – Complete Mountaineering Traverse from South to North

Difficulty:

The Via delle Normali in the Brenta Dolomites is much more than a simple mountaineering traverse: it is an intense, exciting and unforgettable experience. Imagine taking a map and drawing one continuous line across the entire Brenta Group from south to north. That line comes to life in the Via delle Normali, an iconic itinerary rich in history, linking the main summits through the classic routes that made mountaineering famous in this extraordinary corner of the Dolomites.

This route is perfect for those who love great alpine classics and want to experience a technical, rewarding and adrenaline-filled adventure without facing extreme difficulties. Exposed passages, climbing sections never above grade III, equipped trails and breathtaking views alternate along the way, offering authentic emotions and the unique satisfaction of reaching one summit after another.

The original route develops over six days, crossing ten summits and around 45 kilometres of climbing sections, equipped passages and high-altitude traverses. The version proposed here concentrates the experience into four days, combining a shorter duration with some of the most spectacular and mountaineering-significant sections of the route.

It is also possible to organise the full six-day version, or create a personalised program adapted to the participants’ level, available time and goals, to experience the Brenta Dolomites in an exclusive and tailor-made way.
