La Via che non c’è, in the Brenta Dolomites, is one of the finest ice and mixed routes in the group: an authentic winter mountaineering experience immersed in the wild character of one of the most fascinating massifs in the Alps.
In winter, the walls of the Brenta become a severe and silent world, where snow, ice and rock combine in changing conditions that are never obvious. This is a real alpine itinerary, shaped by the mountain day by day. Ice flows and mixed sections form, transform and evolve throughout the season, making every ascent different and deeply connected to the conditions of the moment.
The approach is that of technical winter mountaineering: progression on mixed terrain, use of crampons and ice axes, mountain reading and decision-making in an alpine environment. Every climb becomes a unique, intense experience, directly linked to the living conditions of the mountain.
