Program

Normal Route

  • Day 1 – Meet the Mountain Guide at the car park by Lake Campo Moro (1,990 m). After a technical briefing and equipment check, set off for Rifugio Marco e Rosa (3,597 m), crossing a spectacular high-mountain environment with glaciers and wide views over the Bernina massif. Arrival at the hut, dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 2 – Early morning departure for the ascent of Piz Bernina (4,049 m) along the Normal Route, the classic itinerary leading to the highest summit in the Eastern Alps. The spectacular traverse of the final ridge and the arrival on the summit offer grand views over glaciers and peaks stretching to the horizon. Descent along the ascent route and return to the valley, taking home the emotion of having reached one of the most prestigious mountains in the Alps.

Biancograt Ridge

  • Day 1 – Meet the Mountain Guide in Pontresina (1,850 m). Technical briefing, equipment check and departure for Val Roseg, reached either on foot or by the characteristic horse-drawn carriage. From here, continue along the trail leading to the Tschierva Hut (2,584 m). Arrival at the hut, dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 2 – Early morning departure for the ascent of Piz Bernina (4,049 m) along the famous Biancograt, one of the most iconic ridges in the Alps. From the summit, descend along the Normal Route to Rifugio Marco e Rosa, then continue to Berghaus Diavolezza (2,978 m) via the Fortezza Ridge. Descent to the valley by cable car and end of the itinerary.

Piz Palü Traverse

  • Day 1 – Meet the Mountain Guide at Lagalb in the afternoon. Technical briefing and equipment check before taking the cable car up to Berghaus Diavolezza (2,973 m). For those who prefer, it is possible to arrange the meeting directly at the hut. Dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 2 – Morning departure for the Piz Palü traverse, one of the most classic and panoramic ascents in the Bernina group. At the end of the traverse, descend to Rifugio Marco e Rosa (3,597 m). Dinner and overnight stay at the hut.
  • Day 3 – Early morning departure for the ascent of Piz Bernina (4,049 m). From the summit, descend along the same route to Rifugio Marco e Rosa, then continue along the Fortezza Ridge to Berghaus Diavolezza (2,973 m). Descent to the valley by cable car and end of the itinerary.
