Normal Route
- Day 1 – Meet the Mountain Guide in the afternoon in Solda (1,860 m) for the approach to the hut, or directly in the evening at Rifugio Payer (3,029 m). Technical briefing, equipment check, dinner and overnight stay in an evocative high-mountain setting.
- Day 2 – Early morning departure by headlamp for the ascent of Ortles (3,905 m) along the historic Normal Route. The itinerary develops across glaciers, snow slopes and scenic ridge sections, leading to the highest summit in South Tyrol. Descent along the same route to Rifugio Payer, then return to Solda.
Hintergrat Ridge
- Day 1 – Meet the Mountain Guide in the afternoon in Solda (1,860 m) for the approach to the hut, or directly in the evening at Rifugio Coston (2,661 m). Take the chairlift up to Langensteinhütte (2,330 m), then continue on foot to the hut. Technical briefing, equipment check, dinner and overnight stay in a high-mountain environment.
- Day 2 – Ascent to the summit of Ortles along the elegant Hintergrat Ridge, one of the most beautiful routes in the Eastern Alps. Descent along the Normal Route to Rifugio Payer, then return to Solda.
