The Carè Alto Summit Challenge takes place in the heart of the Adamello-Presanella group in Trentino, one of the most iconic and wild areas of the Italian Alps. Often considered one of the most fascinating mountains in Trentino, Carè Alto offers an authentic, remote and technical alpine environment.
This is a true mountaineering marathon: an intense experience that brings together physical endurance, climbing technique and full immersion in the high mountains. The challenge links the four ridges of Carè Alto in a single day, within 24 hours: the Normal Route (II/PD), Cresta Cerana (III/AD), Cresta degli Alpini (III/AD) and the South-East Ridge (V/D+).
The experience is available in two versions: park-to-park, starting and finishing from the valley floor, with a total elevation gain and loss of +3,350 m / -3,350 m; or hut-to-hut, starting from Rifugio Carè Alto, with a total effort of +2,130 m / -2,130 m.

Program
- 24-hour challenge – Meet the guide and start from the car park in Val Borzago (1,230 m), or from Rifugio Carè Alto (2,450 m), reached the evening before.
- The traverse begins with the ascent of the South-East Ridge, followed by the descent and immediate re-ascent along the South-West Ridge. The route then continues with the descent and ascent of the Normal Route, before descending and climbing again along Cresta Cerana.
- The return and descent to the valley follow either Cresta Cerana or the Normal Route, depending on conditions and the Mountain Guide’s assessment.
Pricing & Logistics
- The cost of the ascent varies depending on the chosen program.
- The experience is organised for one participant only.
- The price includes: Mountain Guide accompaniment, itinerary planning, logistical organisation and technical equipment if needed.
- The price does not include: half-board accommodation in the hut, transfers, personal expenses and any extras.
