The basic ski touring course takes place in Trentino, in Madonna di Campiglio, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and on the slopes of the Adamello-Presanella group: one of the most complete and educational alpine settings in the Eastern Alps.<\/p>\n

The outings take place around Madonna di Campiglio, between the Brenta Dolomites and Adamello-Presanella, in ideal environments for learning and technical progression. The day continues with the first ascent using skins, introducing the fundamental movements: ski handling, efficient gliding, grip on different gradients, kick turns and uphill transitions. The day ends with an introduction to avalanche transceiver use and the basics of avalanche self-rescue, through practical exercises in simple, controlled situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The preparation of a ski tour is also covered, learning how to assess its feasibility according to snow and weather conditions.
