Contract terms<\/span><\/span><\/h1>

1. Scope of Service
\n<\/strong>The Mountain Guide undertakes to provide professional guiding, training and leadership services in mountain environments, including hiking, mountaineering, climbing, ski touring and related activities, in compliance with current regulations and professional safety standards.<\/p>\n

2. Booking and Conclusion of the Contract
\n<\/strong>The booking is considered confirmed upon payment of the amount due or, where applicable, upon payment of a confirmation deposit. By confirming the booking, the client declares that they have read, understood and accepted these contract terms.<\/p>\n

3. Payment
\n<\/strong>The fee for the service will be agreed in advance. Unless otherwise agreed, where a confirmation deposit has been paid, the balance must be paid before the start of the activity. Any additional expenses, such as transport, lift passes, accommodation, equipment rental and similar costs, are payable by the client unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n

4. Withdrawal and Cancellations
\n<\/strong>The client has the right to withdraw from the contract by giving written notice by email or another agreed method. Cancellation conditions vary according to the type of activity booked.<\/p>\n

Individual Activities: 1 Participant<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Up to 30 days before the activity: refund of 100% of the amount paid, net of organisation and administrative costs equal to 15% of the total.<\/li>\n
  • From 29 to 15 days before the activity: 50% of the total agreed amount will be retained.<\/li>\n
  • From 14 to 8 days before the activity: 75% of the total agreed amount will be retained.<\/li>\n
  • From 7 days before the activity, or in the event of no-show: 100% of the total agreed amount will be retained.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Group Activities: 2 or More Participants<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Up to 45 days before the activity: refund of 100% of the amount paid, net of organisation and administrative costs equal to 15% of the total.<\/li>\n
    • From 44 days before the activity, or in the event of no-show: the full agreed amount remains due, unless otherwise agreed and formalised in writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Out-of-Pocket Expenses and Costs Already Incurred
      \n<\/strong>Any out-of-pocket expenses already incurred for the organisation of the activity, including but not limited to bookings, permits and third-party services, will be calculated separately and deducted from any refundable amount, where applicable.<\/p>\n

      The number of days is calculated based on the difference between the date of the activity and the date on which the cancellation notice is received.<\/p>\n

      5. Cancellation by the Mountain Guide
      \n<\/strong>The Mountain Guide may withdraw from the contract in the following cases:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • When the minimum number of participants required is not reached and the client is notified no later than:\n
          \n
        • 20 days before the start of the package for trips lasting more than 6 days;<\/li>\n
        • 7 days before the start of trips lasting between 2 and 6 days;<\/li>\n
        • 48 hours before the start of trips lasting less than 2 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • For safety reasons, adverse weather conditions, force majeure or other unforeseeable circumstances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          In all these cases, the Mountain Guide may offer an alternative activity, reschedule the activity, issue a voucher for the same amount with validity to be agreed, or refund in full the amounts paid, without any further obligation to pay compensation.<\/p>\n

          6. Interruption of the Activity
          \n<\/strong>If the activity has to be interrupted early for reasons not attributable to the Mountain Guide, including the client\u2019s physical condition or failure to follow the instructions provided, no refund will be due.<\/p>\n

          7. Multi-Day Programmes or Special Activities
          \n<\/strong>For multi-day programmes or specific activities, additional conditions may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.<\/p>\n

          8. Safety and Liability
          \n<\/strong>Activities in mountain environments involve objective risks that cannot be eliminated. The Mountain Guide takes all necessary measures to reduce such risks, without being able to eliminate them completely. The client declares that they are aware of and accept the risks connected with the activity. The client is also required to follow the Mountain Guide\u2019s instructions carefully. Otherwise, the Guide may interrupt the activity without any obligation to provide a refund.<\/p>\n

          9. Client Requirements
          \n<\/strong>The client declares that they are in good physical and mental condition and have a technical level appropriate to the chosen activity. Any medical conditions, allergies or special circumstances must be communicated before the start of the activity.<\/p>\n

          10. Equipment
          \n<\/strong>The client must arrive with suitable equipment that complies with the instructions provided by the Mountain Guide. The Guide reserves the right to refuse participation if the equipment is not suitable.<\/p>\n

          11. Insurance
          \n<\/strong>The client is advised to have personal insurance covering accidents, civil liability and mountain rescue costs. The Mountain Guide has professional insurance coverage as required by current regulations.<\/p>\n

          12. Programme and Changes
          \n<\/strong>The activity programme may be subject to changes depending on weather conditions, environmental conditions or the level of the participants. The Mountain Guide reserves the right to modify itineraries or cancel the activity in order to ensure safety.<\/p>\n

          13. Processing of Personal Data
          \n<\/strong>The personal data provided will be processed in compliance with current personal data protection regulations, exclusively for purposes connected with the performance of the activity.<\/p>\n

          14. Jurisdiction
          \n<\/strong>Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the court of the place where the Mountain Guide is based, unless otherwise provided by law.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Contract terms1.
