Large amphitheater full of ice already visible from the valley floor, upstream from the town of San Bernardo. The Valorz basin is the main location for ice climbing in the area, highly appreciated for the high concentration of waterfalls, the length of the routes, the ease of access and the difficulties of all levels. Among the most well-known itineraries, Cascata Madre, Grand Hotel and Salto degli Angeli.
What to bring: layered clothing, gloves, crampon boots, personal technical material, energy bars, hot drink.
