If nature is simply grandiose, glaciers have always exercised an incredible fascination in the common imagination, the strength of an environment that evokes freedom and lightness, immense spaces and the absence of borders. A unique experience, with a certain awareness and #3 great dynamics to manage, moving on snow and ice, the presence of crevasses and aspects relating to orientation. Regardless of the period and the means of transport, whether on foot in summer or with mountaineering skis and snowshoes in spring.
Program: G1 – Meeting in Pinzolo and transfer to Val Genova 1680m. Glacier climb: tying and roped progression, technique of using ice ax and crampons, interpretation of the terrain and choice of lines, stops on snow and ice, recovery from crevasses, orientation and GPS navigation. Adamello Fallen Refuge 3040m. G2 – Mountaineering itinerary in the high mountains and glacier on mixed terrain with rock, snow and ice. NB: the program may vary based on weather conditions, level of physical fitness and ability of the participants, unpredictable events upstream and/or the advice of your guide.
The fee includes: UIAGM mountain guide service, logistical organisation, insurance, technical material according to availability, souvenir photo. Not included: shelters, transfers and ski lifts for oneself and the guide to be divided among the participants.
